High School Internship Opportunities

Textron Aviation is proud to support the students of our communities through exposure to the skills and experience needed for future career exploration and training. Textron Aviation offers internships for high school students to gain hands-on experience in the aviation industry.

Paid, part-time internships are available for high school students starting at 16 years old in the following areas:

  • Aviation Maintenance
  • Business Management
  • Communications
  • Customer Experience and Events
  • Engineering
  • Finance and Sales
  • Human Resources
  • Information Technology
  • Manufacturing
  • Interior Design and Development

High school internships are available year-round. The Summer Internship Program is your chance to explore exciting career paths, gain hands-on experience, and build professional skills as part of the future of aviation. With work schedules devoted to Monday-Friday morning hours only, you’ll still have time for summer fun. Successful applicants for the Fall and Spring Internship Programs should have a school schedule that allows for internship work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.

    Summer Program: Applications open in January.

    • Orientation: June 4, 2026
    • First Day: June 8, 2026
    • Last Day: July 31, 2026

    Fall Program: Applications open in June.

    Spring Program: Applications open in October.
